Ok.
I pon-ed school today.
The weather is just too nice.
And the bed is like a magnet,
I wake up,
Stand up,
Walk to the door then suddenly i'll go back to the bed =.=
Anyway,
I haven't been updating because of these:
[My Pet Qian Da. He looks cool right?]
[Look at the Text. Jordan and his high score of 24320 and apparently it keeps increasing everyday =.= imbah]
They're seriously addictive.
So People,
All of you should go get a Facebook account if you don't have one.
And if you do have one already,
then start playing!
LOL
I've been going to concerts this past few days.
Firstly was on Sunday.
I think the Concert was entitled,
An Evening with Xu Yiping.
The Program booklet is in chinese =.=
But nonetheless,
The whole night was very enjoyable.
The pieces played are very nice.
Especially Ser Yang's solo piece,
Super stunningly beautiful man.
The way he played it with such passion.
And the song itself was so smooth and beautiful.
I think the whole concert was really nice,
except for one piece which was the Da Suona =.=
Wah lao, That ruined everything.
When I heard that the Da Suona was about to play,
I was like OH NO!!!
It was really irritating.
It sounded like some man having a serious bout of diarrhea.
Seriously =.=
The cute part of the concert was the Primary School COs.
I think they were really pro.
In my opinion they played better than the Secondary Schools playing.
I especially liked the Rosyth Primary School.
I don't know what piece they played because,
as i said,
the booklet's in chinese =.=
The whole night ended with no encore performance,
I was like waiting for encore.
Instead, the Ms Xu Yi Ping thanked everyone.
in chinese =.=
So i over there just play along.
Pretend I understand.
Clap when necessary -.-
Ok.
Then the next day.
Which was yesterday.
CHIJ Katong Convent Chinese Orchestra Concert
I think this is enjoyable.
But the players were boring.
Never smile at all
and it makes them look super robotic
and also they looked like they're pissed off at being there.
But overall,
It was ok for their first "Pubic" Performance.
LOL
Apparently there's a serious typo error in the booklet.
They forgot the letter "L" in "Public"
[I haven't seen i though. Only heard from Emersius and Jordan]
The only pieces that was really boring and kept me stunned in disbelief was
The pieces:
Song of Promising Future
Dance
It was seriously boring.
I was expecting 'Dance' to be exciting because it's a percussion piece.
But it was disappointing.
Either the Timpani was really soft or the xylophones was overpowering it.
I really enjoyed the pieces Jingle Bells, Canon in D and Christmas Medley.
Super cute man.
I was like cool, Jingle Bells with a Chinese twist.
LOL
Canon in D.
I've heard it like a million times.
So i wasn't really looking forward to it.
But It was really enjoyable.
The whole piece was just smooth and very soothing.
It was definitely worth hearing again.
Christmas Medley. was really good.
They played 'Rudolf the Red Nosed Rain deer', 'Santa Clause is coming to Town', 'Jingle Bells' and 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'
It really set the Christmas mood.
Feng Nian Ji was quite disappointing.
It was kind of messy at the start.
Especially when the whole orchestra was suppose to come in.
But it was nice towards the end.
For an Encore performance,
they played Brazil Brazil.
I heard the super familiar tok tok tok of the cow bell and knew it was Brazil Brazil =.=
Nothing much to say about that piece.
But i think seriously for most of the piece,
percussion was out of timing.
They kind of made a mess of the whole piece.
Anyways,
It was nice.
One more performance to go to on Thursday.
Ser Yang's Performance for the National Chinese Music Competition Finals.
I heard he's playing the same solo piece he played on sunday.
Cool!
I loved that piece.
Apparently, It's the first time it's being played in Singapore?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
'Cause that's what I heard on sunday.
Either First time in Singapore or First time in Singapore Conference Hall.
Ok that's all for updates.
I'm going back to sleep.
Today is a 'whole day sleep in bed' Day.
LOL
I'll try not to.
There's quite a lot of things I need to do.
xD
The End
