Long Day

Woah man.
It's been a long day today.
Went to and fro around the country.
Actually no la.
Just went From Tampines to Marine Parade to Bugis to City Hall to East Coast Park to Siglap and finally back to Tampines.

I went to East Coast Park to relax.
Maybe if you haven't realized it yet,
we're recently experiencing great weather -.-
It's those kind of sunny weather but yet not scorching hot.
It's sunny yet super windy that my waxed hair was in a mess by the end of the day.

Right after watching August Rush,
I kinda realized that actually there's a lot of music out there.
We're just not really listening.
I was at ECP a while ago and was just seating there with my eyes close,
then the sounds just "appeared".
The sound of the waves and the rhythm of the jogging people
plus the constant slapping of the wave against the rocks.

So I was just there,
listening and kind of enjoying myself.
It's actually kind of cool.
Some of you should try it sometimes.

Singapore life is just way too fast.
Sometimes you just need to slow things down and relax.

I was actually thinking of that statement while I was in ECP.
The I got a revelation.

We always look at time as our enemy.
Running against it and stuff.
We always say that we don't have time or that we should have more time.
Be it when we're doing our homework or doing our tests or even while in our death beds.
But today I kind of thought about it.

What if we "befriend" time?
What if instead of running against time, we run with it?

I think our stress level will really decrease by 100%

That's when I realized,
God created time.
He created everything.
So if we "befriend" God, we "befriend" time.
If we run with God, we run with time.

True?

That's why I got a revelation today that we should really walk with God.
If we are lead and leaning to Christ,
we'll always have peace and will always know what we're doing.
We don't have to be so stressed!

It's kind of like Jacob.
He wrestled with God for 1 night
and because he did not let go,
God touched his hip and it became dislocated.
It must have been super painful,
but still Jacob didn't give up,
he kept hanging on to God.
Jacob exclaimed to God while wrestling with Him,
"I WILL NOT LET GO UNLESS YOU BLESS ME!"

God saw his faith  and boldness and ultimately blessed him and changed his name to Israel.
God was super happy!
But then Jacob now walks with a limp.
Some would say that that was a part and parcel of the blessings of God.
That even when we're blessed we will still face pain
and that the process of getting that blessing is hard.

But I say otherwise.
I think it was a lesson for Jacob.
A lesson that he should always lean on God.
That's why he limps.
Because he's leaning on God ^.^
I think that that's the real blessing given to Jacob.

I didn't know there's so much uses for plasma.
